I recommend a Futaba Metal Gear High Torque or an ACE Servo. Ace seems to be pretty solid. It is a 4 wheel drive buggy. Don't take out the front dog bone. What will happen is you will blow either the center differential from the additional revs or the engine because it is working too hard. There is no transmission in a buggy so you need to put power to all of the wheels to make it go properly. Trust me, I have seen what happens when you lose one of the drive shafts. Not pretty. Jason

I think the LX-One is a great Buggy. It has all the same components of some more expensive buggies at a much lower RTR price. That being said there are weaknesses that can easily be fixed. 1. Hingpins and C clips - Replace with Jammin captured pins and nuts. Sold as a kit for Jammin buggy fits the LX-one 2. Steering servo - You need more power here. 3. Tuned pipe falls off in crashes. Replace with a Jammin 1 piece pipe. 4. Clutch shoes - replace with aluminum shoes. That pretty much does it. With these replacements I have found it to be solid. The tires need to be changed if you plan on racing it. The force .28 is rock solid. I love the power plant for sure.
